Has anyone applied for a DTV Visa as a freelancer with "Phone App Development" as their primary freelance activity?
I'm planning to launch my app soon and have high hopes for its success. However, it won't be generating income by the time I apply for the DTV Visa.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking advice on applying for a DTV Visa as a freelancer, specifically in phone app development, despite not generating income from their app at the time of application. Comments suggest that having a registered business and demonstrating financial stability through bank statements are crucial for the application process, as there is no strict income requirement.
Do you have a registered company or any documentation that you are a sole proprietor of your business? That’ll be the key in this situation. You can prove the finances with a simple account statement, they don’t care about income.
you can not apply as a freelancer who has no track record of operating a real business or income from your business source to prove you’re working (usually proof of income isn’t required with a business registration). Otherwise everybody could do it and just come up with some unverifiable story. It’s easy to get a DTV but not THAT easy. 😬
He has evidence of work but limited income, he can indeed apply as similar successful applicants have done. I know 2 people who were approved in the same situation. He is not applying as a registered business. His income comes via the app sales which can be proved
There is no income requirement, you show what you are doing for work. The 500K THB bank statement ensures you can support yourself for 6 months comfortably.
