TLDR : Answer Summary
Inquiring about the DTV visa application process for freelancers, members discussed portfolio requirements. Suggestions included checking with local embassies for guidelines and sharing experiences of successful submissions. A printed portfolio or evidence from platforms like LinkedIn may be favored over online links. Additional context revealed the necessity of demonstrating freelance legitimacy, possibly requiring contracts or proof of clients.
: If you don't have any clients yet, you may need a certificate of employment or employment contract (your own business). At the end of the day, the Embassy must be convinced that you are a freelancer/ remote worker/ digital nomad.
yes i am. im just starting this 2 months ago after deciding to quit my job.

We applied for a client and used screenshots from linkedin and the website and put them all in a custom google doc where we wrote some stuff. Together with his papers from the tax office it was accepted.

Someone recently posted that they submitted links to their linkedin and portfolio online and were rejected. They then "printed" copies of their portfolio into a pdf and submitted that, and it was accepted.

Look at the website of the Thai Embassy nearest to you, or send them a email, they know what requirements they have for the portfolio, to accept the DTV application
