Hi everyone! I am currently employed until the end of November, and then I will become a freelance programmer by registering for a sole proprietorship. So I do not have any freelancer contract yet.

Is it possible to apply for DTV visa now, only with the registration and current employment letter?

Thank you!!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the possibility of applying for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) in Thailand with their current employment letter and sole proprietorship registration, without a freelancer contract. Responses indicate that acceptance may depend on the embassy, with suggestions that presenting a portfolio and demonstrating ownership of the new business could be sufficient for the application. A bank statement showing funds is also mentioned as potentially adequate.

Tofu Chili you're not going to get a DTV based on a job in Austria which you can not perform remotely

I applied in Ho Chi Minh and did not show any contracts. However, I showed my portfolio and resumé. I stated in my cover letter I was applying as a freelancer. IMHO, it all depends how you present yourself

If you are the owner of the new company and have a registration already then you’re legally permitted to certify yourself anything you want. You don’t need a verified income, just a bank statement with 500,000 THB equivalent.

It all depends on the Embassy you are going to apply at.

They are the only ones, that can tell you exactly what they will approve.
