Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding the DTV Visa. I'm working currently as a freelancer. I'm teaching languages, and other specific subjects through a platform. I work also remotely for a Korean company based in Seoul.

Can I apply for a DTV visa ? ( All the other requirements are ok on my side, proof of funds etc... ) If yes in which Thai royal embassy should I apply for it ? The one in my country where I'm staying right now (my home country) or should I go to Korea? Sorry if it sounds logical to you but I'm a bit confused.

I just wanted to know your opinion please and if you have any advice.

Thank you ๐Ÿ™

Easiest would probably that Korean company that you work remotely for confirm that with a recent letter in English - mentioning that you are free to work remotely from Thailand. That + proof of at least 500k THB savings (or equivalent) in your name should allow you to obtain the DTV. I would also apply in your home country in that case for simplicity.

If you're in your home country do it from there as it's more convenient
