I am currently staying in Thailand on the DTV. I heard there are some requirements for reporting where you stay while in the country.

Anyone have a link to those requirements?

How strict are they? Is it a hard requirement?

Hi guys, I didn't understand something about the new DTV. Do we have to make a report every 90 days? Or not? Thanks!

My son entered on a 30-day visa exempt stamp, then got a one year extension of stay based on being a Thai national.

Does the 90-day count start from his initial entry stamp, or when the extension of stay was granted?

Thanks

Hi all. Currently in Hua Hin, about to go to uk for a few weeks to visit family etc. my 90 reporting is due while i am away. Do i still go to immigration (usually in bluport) as soon as possible on return or is the clock reset and I report in 90 days after I have re entered Thailand ? Do immigration at the airport indicate the 90 days report date ?? Thanks in advance . Ps I am pretty sure the clock is reset but one or two people have casted doubt in my mind.

Hi. Just applied for a 12month Thai wife visa and this is now under consideration.

Today the immigration team paid us a visit to check our living arrangements and to confirm the photos we submitted.

I showed 400k in the bank account at the time of the visa application. My question is, when can I safely draw money from my Bank account below the 400k amount.?? Thanks

Good evening.

I had a meeting today with The Immigration office in Suratthani. I'm US citizen, 65 years old (NO current VISA)

Here on a VISA exempt, one month extension.

Will be heading to USA to get one, and had some questions for them about the new Medical Insurance regulation.

I was told that if I get a Non Immigrant O-A

with Multiple entry, I can return to Thailand, and MUST leave every 3 Months (or 90 days after returning). at the end of the year, I can apply for an extension, and from then on, I will only be asked to report to Immigration (90 days after entering Thailand) and 90 days after returning from a "Trip outside Thailand" AND Insurance would NOT be required.

She Also said that If I get an A-O (one year) VISA, that at the end of the year when I qualify to request an "extension"

(Along with the banking requirements), Proof of a qualifying Insurance policy WILL BE REQUIRED.

So, Non O ME....90 day stay (4 entries per year first year) NO ins. Second year annual Extension, NO requirement to leave.

Non O-A, (possible ME) 90 day check in, and at the One year mark (if requesting an extension) INS. Required!

Ok, the Question:

What have you heard (from any other Immigration Office)

I am on my one-year extension of non-immigration over 50 “retirement” visa due to expire early October 2019. I realize that if I stay in country I have to report every 90 days. But if I leave Thailand for six months or even 11 months is there any problem with re-entering Thailand or keeping my one-year visa extension active or getting a new one year over 50 extension next year Until October 2020? I have a multi-re-entry permit that expires Oct 2019. Do I have to maintain a permenant Thai apt address while I am out of the country for 6 mos or more of traveling?

Hello helpful folks, if I were to set up a company and give myself a work permit, can I apply for a one year visa without leaving every 90 days? I am confused because some need to leave every 90 days, some can stay without going out but need to do the 90 days report. And how much does it cost for such one year visa? I am in Phuket. cheers.
