90 Day Reporting: I moved from a TR visa to an ED visa. Is the 90 day reporting based on the day I entered on a TR visa? Does it have to be on the exact 90 days? What are the requirements at MTT?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When switching from a TR visa to an ED visa in Thailand, the 90 Day Reporting starts after your first extension of the ED visa, not from when you entered on the TR visa. The TR visa does not require reporting since it is only valid for up to 90 days. Upon extending your ED visa, you will receive a slip that indicates the due date for your 90 Day Reporting, which will be 90 days from the date of your extension. Ensure to bring the TM30 form for the extension as it records your residence address.

The FIRST extension you get AFTER your 90 day ED visa runs down is what starts the 90 day count down clock to do your 90 day reporting. When you get your first ED extension they will put a paper in your passport that looks like this and it tells you when your first 90 day report is due :)

that is between you and the immigration office you use

ASK at the immigration office when you get your covid extension and see what they say

TR does not require 90 day reporting because it only lasts 90 days at most. Your new ED should be for 60 days, and once you go in to extend it they will the give you the slip of paper which shows when your 90 day reporting is due, which will be 90 days from when you get your extension. Make sure you bring your TM30 for your extension since that's the address they'll use for your 90 day report!

I just got my extension a couple of weeks ago and I was worried about the 90 day report like you are, but nothing to worry about. You're good to go and have nothing to do except wait for your extension date
