What are the reporting requirements for foreigners staying in Thailand on a DTV visa?

I am currently staying in Thailand on the DTV. I heard there are some requirements for reporting where you stay while in the country.

Anyone have a link to those requirements?

How strict are they? Is it a hard requirement?

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you are staying in Thailand on a DTV visa, you are required to comply with certain reporting requirements. You (or your landlord) must file a TM30 form to notify the authorities of your residence. Additionally, you must submit a 90-day report to the immigration office, which is required once you've been in the country for 90 days without leaving. These requirements are considered strict, and it is essential to adhere to them to avoid potential legal issues.

every foreigner IN thailand is required to have a TM30 filed, now whether you do it or your land lord or your hotel someone files a TM30 saying you're registered as staying at xxx address

no that is not true. I have been in Bangkok for over a year. I don't have tm30.

Now I live at my girlfriend House. Does my girlfriend need to register me with the government?

I don't care either way but I am saying when I went to imigration they did not ask for that.

It's required, but you won't be asked unless you want to get immigration services like extensions, certificates of residence, etc.

you or your land lord files a TM30 (notification of foreigner in residence) form, and then you file a 90 day report once you've been IN country for 90 days without leaving

Why wouldn't they? Just about every other visa has to report every 90 days. Only exception is the LTR

you're confused ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

the information you use to FILE an application for a visa at a thai consulate in another country has abso-tively, posi-lutely ZERO to do with anything INSIDE thailand

You are still required to file a TM30 showing where you're staying IN thailand and then you're required to file a 90 day report after you've been in country for 90 days continuously ๐Ÿ™‚

if you are staying in a hotel they should file the TM30 but you will need to get a copy from them to take to immigration. You're required by law to report the fact you have been inside Thailand for 90 consecutive days and to make the report you need a TM30
