is the verdict out on whether or not DTV holders have issues returning via Poi Pet? Wanting to know if I'll run into issues after a 2 day stay in Siem Reap before coming back.

If I exit and re enter the country before the 1st 90 days…..

I am correct in thinking it resets so I don’t have to report my address for another 90 days ?

I didn’t register my address yet but I exited the country around 70 day mark

Hello,

I came to India yesterday for work and I decided to apply for here to my DTV because I will be two weeks. They don’t have the the options to pay with credit card yet so I need to do the bank and do the transfer. I uploaded my application yesterday.

Someone has apply in India? Foreigners can apply? The lady who answer the phone of the embassy of Thailand in Delhi told me that the answer this depends of the consular.

Any advices or similar cases?

I'm in Western USA, want to apply for the DTV Visa. I'm dyslexic. I hate paperwork!

Any recommendations on who to hire to do this for me? Thanks.

Hello All,

I just wanted to wish everyone good luck on your DTV Application as well as share my application process specifically with my fellow Aussies 🦘

I am an Australian citizen. I applied for the DTV on the 24th of February via the (www.thaievisa.go.th)

Website. The embassy I chose was the Sydney location.

Visa application cost: $600 AUD (USD $380) NON REFUNDABLE.

My application was based on the Digital Nomad category. (Content Creator)

Documents I have submitted;

Passport

Drivers licence

Cover letter / CV

Passport sized photo

3 month bank statement from my local Australian bank.

I didn't book a Plane ticket at the time of the application however I did provide where I would be staying in terms of accommodation.

Request for additional information was asked on the 4th of March asking for The employment certificate from your company confirming your eligibility for remote work or digital nomad status.

I sent back a detailed description of my content creator status indicating in detail what I do as well as linked all my online social media on a 2 page PDF.

6th of March:

Received the Approval email with the visa attachment.

So in conclusion the total turnaround time for my personal application was 9 business days from the initial online application to approval.

Beyond excited to start the next leg of my journey!

Good luck to all!

Me and my partner were quoted 1700$ USD for a 3 month Muay Thai course in Hua Hin for both of us. Has anyone found cheaper in Hua Hin? And if not, how about Bangkok? We will be flying Into Bangkok initially.

Also! Do we need an exit flight booked in advance?

Appreciate any info! Will be applying at the NY consulate.

Approved through US Consulate.

Applied Feb 18th. Requested additional documents March 3rd, Approved March 5th.

I applied online through the evisa site on the 18th through Workcation catagory.

I am self employed but did not have the funds required for the visa application so I had my dad sponsor me with his savings account.

Was initially worried about that being under workcation catagory but after I applied they just needed an employement verification letter signed (by myself) and they approved it.

I submitted:

Letter of Intent, Employment Contract, Proof of Work (Link to my site and invoices), Sponsorship Letter, Bank Statements (I used 6 months), Copy of My Dads Passport for ID verification, and Employment Verification Letter. I had already purhcased my flight and made a hotel reservation for my travels (March 31st is my flight out)

I wanted to say thank you to this group as I combed over tons of posts before submitting my application. I have never been anywhere outside of the US and Mexico (right across the border) but this has been a dream for going on 10 years now so I am so hyped to make it happen.

I used ChatGPT throughout my process to help me draft letters and follow the requirements with the DTV. I had ChatGPT make editable templates of all the letters I submitted if that would be helpful I put them here in a shareable folder (just make your own copy of them as needed).

Arrival post,

Got approved for the DTV visa two months ago, arrived a month later than my original intended arrival date. Immigration officer seemed happy that I had a visa, and said that most people aren’t getting appropriate visas at the moment. (I believe people have to apply for a visa exemption on arrival pre departure now, but a lot of people aren’t) stamped me in and said after 180 days to leave Thailand, and then come back for a new stamp. Whole process took 2-3 minutes, didn’t ask for any documentation etc. just had a print out of my visa. 🙂
