πŸ“Œ Urgent Information Needed Regarding DTV Visa – Manila Thai Embassy

Hello everyone,

I would like to ask a few important questions:

1. Has anyone applied for a DTV visa at the Thai Embassy in Manila?

2. If so, how long did the processing take?

3. Has anyone received visa approval in June?

I’m planning to apply as a Freelancer, and I already have 500,000 THB in my bank account (financial proof is ready).

I would really appreciate it if anyone who has recent experience could kindly share their timeline and advice.

Thank you so much πŸ™

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post inquires about the DTV visa application process at the Thai Embassy in Manila, asking for specific experiences regarding processing times and approval status in June. Responses indicate a range of processing times, from about 3 weeks to potentially longer due to recent delays. Additionally, there is a mention of the requirement to have the financial proof (500,000 THB) in the bank for 3-6 months prior to application.

I think the 500 000 THB have to be in your account 3-6 months before applying. Not 100 percents certain.

I did get a request back from Manila for multiple months of statements. I hadn't initially learned how to combine several files into one doc but made a point to after the request so yeah I would expect them to request multiple months.

I was just approved for soft power. It took about 3 weeks for me.

Currently waiting on doc check submitted this week, holidays are pushing everything back. Posts are across the board about taking awhile (multiple weeks). I wouldn't expect a quick turn around right now. Especially compared to a couple of months ago when a poster got approved in under 4 hours.
