I am an client of SBC brokers but not for much longer. I don’t have any pre-existing conditions and I was promised my bills would be covered in full. I had an emergency where I almost died and the hospital threw me to the streets because I could not pay usd 5000-10.000 upfront. The doctors said I would probably die but what do you do when you have a shit insurance and doesn’t have a300,000 dollars limit on you credit card. Safe your life and find a proper insurance brokerage. Does this look pre-existing?

Does anybody have an up-to-date list of required documents by Bangkok ImmigrationDivision 1 regarding the accommodation for the extension of the 1 year non-o retirement visa when you rent a condo from a private owner? There are several suggestions flying around, including

- copy of lease (I guess thats a given)

- landlords ID

- landlords house registration book

- property deed/proof of ownership of the landlord

- photos of building (inside, outside)

Obviously copies, but do they have to be signed by the owner? (This is only about the accommodation related documents, the rest I know already.) Thanks in advance!

Hi! I just got a request to add some documents to my application: all the pages of my current + previous passport (i recently renewed it because all the pages of the previous one where full).

I have been trying now for 3 hours to merge all the scans in a PDF that is less than 3MB and it looks impossible.

Please help me if you know how to do this! I am desperate.

Hello, I’m new to the group and would like to ask a question, I’m Canadian and I work overseas (have for over 30 years) anyway, I work a shift of 5 weeks at work and 5 weeks off, over the next year or so I would like to take my off time (usually maximum 35 days) and come tour Thailand. My question is will I have issues coming in 3 or 4 times a year for about 30 to 35 days each time.

I will not be working at all, only traveling around and touristy stuff

DTV - Soft Power

I am unemployed and have just over 500k in my account. Another 400k invested. Will that be enough? Has anyone been accepted like this?

I get support from my family. Not regularly, though, so I don't want to give it as income.

With my stay extension coming due 2/1/'26 I have remembered my passport expires 9/'26. Does that mean I need to renew my passport prior to extension to get the full year '2026 ?

Hi! I`ll be applying for an education visa at the Immigration Division 1 in Bangkok in person, my university listed that I need to pay the Visa fee - 2000baht. But I can`t find any information on where or how. I will be applying in person, will the officer be able to take the payment by a European debit card or should I bring cash? (Sorry, payment systems have been a nightmare here so far as many places don`t accept foreign cards so I`m a bit worried)
