Reporting latest experience. Yesterday transferred the monthly 65000 baht from my Australian bank account via Wise (Funds for longstay in Thailand) to my Bangkok Bank account. Transfer initiated at 9:40am, funds arrived in Bangkok Bank account sometime between 12:30 and 12:50pm correctly noted on the account as an international transfer, for immigration purposes. Transferred funds for rent and internet at around 1:30pm. Used QR Promptpay scan four times between 4:00pm and 8:00pm.

At 2:30pm ordered 12-month statement from bank app (for immigration purposes this coming week), which arrived via email at 4:30pm.

I'm on non-O retirement extension, BB customer for eight years.

Absolutely no problems, account not frozen or suspended.

Bangkok Bank and Wise not quite the ogres which some are suggesting!

Once I leave after my first 6 months on my DTV and come back do I still need to have proof of 500,000 baht in liquid bank account again when i re enter for the next 6 months? I keep majority of my funds in an Individual Brokerage Account so that Iโ€™m gaining interest. Iโ€™d prefer not to hold that much in a standard checking or savings account.h

I am applying for soft power for medical treatment from my home country, Sweden. It is a legit medical treatment with a plan over the course of 2 years with check ups every 6 months. I have that letter from the hospital, bank statements for 6 months, extract from the tax office showing my address, ticket to Thailand, hotel booking for the first few nights. Is there anything else I need?

TIA.

Okay folks, looking for an agent to handle USA visa app for my wife. We've been married years, I live here full time, we own land, have a business... All of the "right things". We failed twice and it is just a miserable emotional smog to go through the process and get declined. I don't want to do anything shady, but I'd like to remove the pain from the application process. So, did anyone here use an agent and successfully get a tourist visa to the USA for your Thai partner? Would you please refer me to the agent you used.

For all the "just get her a green card" commenters- buzz off. I don't wanna .

Thanks for the help.

Hello everyone ๐Ÿ™‚

I have a Non O Visa based on marriage and it will activate on September 25th when I enter Thailand ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ญ

When am I able to apply for medical insurance?

When I enter?

Can I do it earlier? As I understand they may be a stand down period for major sicknesses

Thanks so much ๐Ÿ™

Hey all working with Baan Thai for a retirement O stateside. Doing the 3 month initial visa. Theyโ€™ve asked that I provide my U.S. bank statements for the past 3 months showing 80,000 baht balance. I know this is a requirement once I get a bank account in Thailand. Has anyone had the request to show the same from a U.S. bank?

Hi everyone,

A friend submitted his DTV application at HAN (Hanoi, Vietnam) on July 22, and it changed to "Pending Approval" on July 24.

Today is August 1st (Friday evening) and he still hasn't received any update.

Is this delay unusual?

Has anyone had their visa approved over the weekend before?

Any insights or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks ๐Ÿ™
