TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquires about depositing 800,000 baht for a Retirement O visa and asks if a cashier's check will suffice. The community advises against this, noting that cashing a check can take a long time. They recommend using electronic transfers, which are more common and efficient in Thailand, suggesting services like the WISE App or a direct bank wire transfer.

It has to show as an International Transfer. You can use the WISE App or your own bank to do a wire transfer.

You won't have the month+ it could take for the check to clear. No one uses check it even cashier's checks here. Everything is digital.
