This has happened to many people including me. In my case, the sim was registered to my previous passport and my bank had the new passport number which I believe caused the discrepancy.
I needed to call AIS, send them some photos (sim card, passport, selfie) and then update my details in their app
Then they sent a confirmation SMS, which I showed at my local BB branch and they unlocked the app a few hours later.
I would recommend you call your mobile phone provider and do the steps with them, and then see if you can phone directly to your local BB branch and if not then send someone there to talk on your behalf or literally put the phone to them so you can speak to them! Maybe some sort of solution can be found that way...
Personally my experience of overseas support from BB has been bad - long phone queues with high international fees, and then opening tickets that don't end up getting resolved or followed up on.
3 copies of application form, 3 copies of embassy letter, 3 copies of passport, 3 or 4 passport photos. Normally there is an office outside koh samui immigration that helps you to complete required paperwork, dont know if they are there now though
My prospective employer's lawyer (based in Surat Thani) told me yesterday that, with regards to the progress of my application, the labour office has closed until covid situation calms down. I interpret that as no option to process nonB at this time, or no option to process work permit at this time, or both.
I am in the same situation: all documents handed in to lawyer for non B but now cannot get to Malaysia to hand in.
I will ask the lawyer if it's possible inside thailand. If anyone can share any info, or link a source with info, about the requirements for obtaining a nonB inside thailand, I would be very grateful kap 🙏
