What are the current flight options and airport status for traveling from Koh Phangan to the US?

Help please, I am doing all I can to fly home to United States from Koh Phangan.  Ready to transit but do not want to get stuck midstream. 

I can get a flight from Samui to Bangkok to Japan then home but a friend who was at airport last night said they closed the small airport to all in and out. And as of midnight last night BKK closed as well.  Does anyone have true knowledge

If I fly out of Samui tonight and hope to leave Bangkok tomorrow

i really want to go home, a could book a flight but somebody told me, the airport might be closed, so i decided not to book any flight and relax. Airports in Bangkok are open, boats are still floating and can be used to reach mainland. Good luck and please if someone tells you, there is a party on the beach, laugh about it and make your way back home.

you may have to self-quarantaine yourself when arriving to the USA. You should check the websites of the US government or the IATA list of countries and their air traffic updated regulations

there are no more flights out of o Samui at this point, because Bangkok Airways has discontinued their service. You might be able to travel to Bangkok by VIP bus (Ferry & Bus) and Bangkok airport is still open and serving US routes

Samui Airport is still open. Bangkok Air has only cancelled the international flights and reduced some of the BKK-USM flights
