I also have an extension of stay based on marriage to a Thai and it was VERY doc and visit intensive. Mine is work funded and not using banked funds. I think what you mean is it's easier if have the required funds too. I guess mine was the most difficult combination possible 🤣

Me too and I have a company and a work permit...and it took TONS of paperwork, two trips to immigration in Samui so far and another to come, a visit to my house to 'inspect' it also...maybe it's easier in your location...

Year extensions are NEVER easier than Penang visas.

I just used Key Visa services in Pattaya and it all went well. I am based in Phangan and sent all docs via EMS...no travelling required.
