I guess like you I travel around Asia year round. I’m on groups like this in Vietnam Malaysia and Cambodia but Taiwan and other countries are on my agenda as well. Why do you think the bitterest of souls all seem to inhabit the Thai groups. It’s certainly not the fault of the Thai people but these keyboard warriors are comically not Sabai Sabai 555

I have a pretty severe astigmatism but good overall vision so my prescription is tricky but it was going to be way more expensive than I thought. About the equivalent of $300 or so US $.

It’s funny I haven’t priced here but I spend part of my year in Kuala Lumpur and for my prescription the price would have been just as much as in America. My sight isn’t that bad but I have a “complicated” prescription.

You could definitely bring that much with you but for most things no prescription is required but they may not always have exactly what you are looking for.

Address numbers in Thailand are very very very confusing. In some places the number is based upon the date the building permit was issued. So I’m sure the driver was trying his best it’s happened twice like this in about 200 trips in Thailand.

Phons in the US are moving towards E Sims. Phones here are still sold with physical sims.
