You can’t sign up for a whole year or better yet, 5 years with annual lump sum payments? Would make more sense for the gov to give you a 5 year visa knowing you’re contributing into thai businesses and essentially the economy. Perhaps rejected you as they’re not confident you can support yourself

Showed my phone with my visa on it and I got the 180 days again. Not sure why people overcomplicate things.

Just fill out the Tdac. Show up with your passport and DTV visa approval on your phone (she zoomed in on the form) and Bosh. Done.

opened a Singapore bank account on a tourist visa. I’ve had it for 15 years. Plenty of places will open for tourists - just in Thailand they cranked down on it. It was possible prior Covid to have a bank account as a tourist.

Don’t understand the whining about 90 days or 180 days 😂. Go take a weekend trip away to a beach destination and sorted. Everyone just sit at their accomodation

You apply again.

It says your passport number was incorrect.

I applied from Hong Kong and got approved in 12 days after 2 rounds of questioning (1 being my bank being idiots putting my Chinese name down, and 2 I had to show more evidence I owned the websites I owned as I don’t work for people).

Got 2. One with Amex platinum. One with New World in Hong Kong. I use the Amex travel insurance on anything that’s an emergency. The new world is a health insurance for bigger unforeseen circumstances.
