Too many bulletpoints for me to even bother jumping through such hoops. Effectively “cheaper” (less headache and time consumed on paperwork) to leave the country for a trip to Bali, Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong, X spot anywhere in Asia.

well my interpretation of it was it has to be in your account for 3 months, but we got other people here saying it just needs to be there on a statement.

Financial evidence: an amount of no less than 500,000 THB (e.g., bank statements for the last three months, sponsorship letter).

So just show 500,000 for the last statement? Right ok.

Not sure why people go to the embassy - I applied online and never showed up in person till I set my foot in BKK.
