So basically, when you are fired or decide to reisgn, you have time until 11:59PM the same day the work permit is cancelled to either leave or get a Covid-19 extension, which means you need to get a letter from the embassy in Bangkok first?
A good point. I automatically assumed she is Thai. My bad, I am sorry. Well, I find working-based visa as the only option. However, they both need to get such visa.
I don't know the OP. I think of the ways he can stay longer with his girlfriend. Mentioning the work/volunteering visa means he is serious about his stay so marriage-based visa would be the best choice (cost-benefit). I just wonder if it is possible to covert into such types of visa from the Tourist Visa.
I mean when he is already in on Tourist Visa, he can convert to the Non-O based on marriage? All he needs is Affirmation to marry from his embassy. Correct me if I am mistaken.
For monthly income (40k for marriage or 65k for retirement) it IS reuqired to come from abroad, but for 400k/800k it is NOT required? A local Transferwise transaction is sufficient in such case?
A question here. It's required to either deposit 12x 40k THB or have 400k for a certain period of time, right? Theoretically, what if I deposit let's say 4x an year (once three months) over 120k? Is it compliant with these ridiculous rules? Thanks a lot!
