I'm in Phuket now. Been in Thailand sunce early Aug on a 90 day non O Tourist visa that I was intending to get a 30 day extension. If I hop down to Singapore for a week and come back (can I buy a re-entry permit?), is my Visa voided or would I still have 1+ months left and still eligible for extension.

I know it's pretty much the same as just getting an exemption on the return, but was just wondering about the status of the visa. Thanks.

Have an appointment on Tuesday 20/9/22 for my 90 day Non-O based on retirement and based on your advice I went to CW beforehand and obtained a current handout of requirements (FYI - hasnt changed, see attached).

Having scuttled around desperately I can meet all the requirements except the TM30 from the owner who is being tardy (I won't judge why) with vague comments about some documentation not being available yet.

Having poked around Section 38 of the immigration website, I notice I can register myself but my question is can I (or the owner's representative) file the TM30 or is it just the owner that can do that?

I have a TM30 from my original AirBnb stay but obviously that doesn't relate to my new rental contract, and alternatively the owner's representative has offered to accompany me on Tuesday to explain why the TM30 can't be filed. But I'm concerned the authorities won't accept anything except a TM30 on my new current address and knock me back...

Sarah Dean asked;

I will be coming into thailand on a 60 day tourist visa and then converting that into a 90 day Non-O (with an intention of getting a yearly extension based on retirement after that)

I know I have to show proof that the 800,000 THB originated from overseas.

What exactly do I ask the bank for? I will also ensure I have proof of the SWIFT transfer from the UK end.

Hello all! Quick question. I recently renewed my 90 day non-O volunteer visa in country and was given a 30 day conditional stamp upfront, with the additional 60 once I go back in and check-in. The date for which I'm supposed to go back in to receive the rest of my 60 days is December 21st, however I'm now scheduled to leave the country on the 17th because of some sudden medical complications.

My question is this - would I be able to go and check-in with immigration on the 16th rather than the 21st and receive the rest of my 60 days early before I fly out? How flexible are they with applying early for that?

Thank you for your help! Greatly appreciated!
