Not thailand but I had this issue a while ago with a 10 year Brazilian visa and they said just to keep my old passport, which I guess if it’s lost or stolen isn’t an option?

I booked everything in advance with flexible options, that’s one benefit from covid (many) airlines and hotels are actually accommodating and helpful

Is it possible for U.S. passport holders to obtain a regular tourist visa from the Thai embassies in New York or DC recently?

I applied online and later that day they told me to mail them all the documents, pictures, passport, and the fee.....so I think this means I got it, just mailed everything today

Applied off the DC site and in the reply they said to mail to the NY consulate (closer to my location)

I went to another country with the same wording and was almost turned away because while my test results were less then 48 hours the sample taken was over 72, I think it’s poor wording on there part....as someone who has had to reschedule I suggest anyone with questions gets clarification from your embassy
