Hi! Has anyone experienced having their tourist visa (covid-19) stamps transferred to a new passport? What requirements are needed?
Thank you! 😊

TLDR : Answer Summary
To transfer your tourist visa stamps from an old passport to a new one in Thailand, you need to obtain a letter from your embassy regarding your situation. Take this letter to an immigration office, where they will provide you with a new 'admitted to stay' stamp. It's important to note that the actual visa cannot be transferred, so you must keep your old passport until the visa expires.
Take the letter you get with your new passport to an immigration office and they'll put a new 'admitted to stay' stamp in your passport. They wont transfer the visa so you need to keep your old passport untill the visa expires.

Not thailand but I had this issue a while ago with a 10 year Brazilian visa and they said just to keep my old passport, which I guess if it’s lost or stolen isn’t an option?

Your Embassy will provide you with a letter for the Immigration and with that letter you gonna get a new stamp.
