I have started to apply for the TR Tourist visa. To get the visa I thought you do not need proof of ASQ hotel. The documentation section asks to upload proof of places of stay. Is this for the ASQ hotel or after the hotel where I stay after I have finish Quarantine?  This means I have to pay for the ASQ hotel knowing that I might get the visa?   Can someone please advise me on this?

The application for the visa asks for ASQ and flights, however most embassies don't require them. You need to upload a screenshot or PDF of your intended bookings (get to the booking page before you pay for you hotel and flight, screenshot that, and upload it.)

yes book a couple weeks somewhere with free cancellation, you don’t need to book the full term you are there and some lads have just screen shot a potential booking but it’s upto you

I booked everything in advance with flexible options, that’s one benefit from covid (many) airlines and hotels are actually accommodating and helpful

you submit your declaration the day you apply for visa you also are required to have a hard copy with you when you enter thailand

I would call the embassy/consulate you are applying at and ask them.

they really shouldn't require the ASQ booking confirmation for the Visa. You do need the ASQ reservation for the COE

Ryan its an online declaration and you have to just put something in the box ( upload) to keep it going to submit it. After you get the 1st email reply from consulate you can log in and change things every day if you like to add your new documents. So as you move forward and you get your new documents just log in and upload. Is this what you did ?

I never had to do this. My visa app was done in person and COE online. But I was applying for a tr visa.

same as me i did it like you. Does not matter what visa still have to update everything online just do as i explained youll be right, here to help you. Online is the way the consulate request things from you so when you get a email for flights or insurance or ASQ documents you can upload and you want section 11.4 TR visa

You talk your ASQ pick 1 that allows deposit with a change of date if required. I payed 5000 deposit Pullman G, they gave me a certificate to upload excepted by thai consulate. I think you are on the embassy website to do the application declaration 11.4. You will be asked where your staying on your declaration 11.4 after ASQ and have proof because immigration may ask in thailand

what Mark said! Find an ASQ that takes a deposit - if the visa fails, or you can't travel for some other reason, you lose a small amount (and a good hotel will let you use that credit for a future booking!)
