Arrived at the TTEO (Thailand embassy in Taipei) today, October 2nd and their office is closed. No announcement of a pubic holiday. Anyone have any information?

UPDATE: I found an update on their FB page. They were closed today because of the Krathon typhoon. When they reopen this week probably depends on the length and severity of the storm. Plan accordingly for anyone headed this way.

UPDATE 2: Per their FB page: They're closed again on Thursday, October 3rd.

Answer summary

The Thailand embassy in Taipei was closed on October 2nd due to the Krathon typhoon, with an announcement found on their Facebook page. The reopening date is uncertain and will depend on the storm's duration and impact. Additionally, there were inquiries about transitioning to online visa applications.

we can check this website:

********************************************

(TTEO is at TAIPEI CITY)

this is official mandatory announcement from gov, applying to all companies and institutions. TTEO must follow this, too.

So I think they won’t reply to any email today since nobody goes to office.
