My advice to everyone is put your passport country for place of issue.

No one has been cancelled doing this.

Unfortunately they tell you to write exactly what’s in your passport, but on many occasions people did this (for this place of issue field) and got cancelled. E.g. they put “Bangkok” which was where their European passport was issued from and was in their passport - and got cancelled
