Probably if I was to do chores in return for board and lodging then, as in Australia, would be in breach of your visa. Money does not gave to change hands.

My advice would be to book on the airlines site as any changes will be easier. Having said that this year for personal reasons had to book a few days before the flight and it was £1000 on the aitline site . Tried Booking dot com and it was £700. No issues on the first flight.

you asked a question which had nothing to do with visa to strangers on the internet. Facebook is a Public forum and as a member of this any FB group I can commemt on a message I found quite offensive, that is do Thais like Black preople.

I have never found the Thais being other then polite and welcoming. The same with the Bahranis, Emiratis, Saudis and Ghanaians were I have lived. I have never had to ask if they like "white" people.

It appears the luck of the draw. Some people get asked, others do not. I understand there are sites that give a genuine resevation on the airlines site for a small fee.

honestly its is a good place to to do so but do not worry about these things. Like any country there is a minority of haters. I am a Brit and no longer care what people think of me, enjoying my retirement if they do not like it that is their problem.
