What are the dress code requirements for visiting Phuket immigration?
Just a reminder! Phuket immigration ( up stair office)
Will not ( guys) let you step foot inside if you not wearing trousers. I saw many turned away. Along trip down there for nothing for these guys! 👍

I wore pants for my visa-exempt extension in Patong and saw a couple of guys in shorts and sandals getting served. I was a little surprised.

Rules are rules, but i’m glad this isn’t enforced where i go. I keep my knees covered but having to go buy some pants for an extension in a country thats usually 90+ degrees just seems hilarious.

This has been the rule in every south east Asian country I’ve ever been in? I don’t understand? Just because it’s not enforced consistently doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be respected? We are a guest. We should not act like we own the place.
