 he said he was going to immigration with his passport for whatever reason... i wasnt saying he needed to go there to do the tm30 i was saying he didnt need anything to prove he had a tm30 if it is done online by his hotel.

They let me fill the form in myself in immigration haha

Anonymous participant ye man. Its all done online when you check into hotel. If you want to be double safe just request the hotel does it and let then know youll be going to immigration - im told sometimes they get lazy and forget.

Hotel should do automatically. If not its a 1600baht fine they get. Pretty sure. Never hurts to ask though

I just self certified mine. I dont know how thats possible but immigration just told me to fill in the form myself with the property owners details.... they did fine me for it being late though, lesson learnt.
