Anonymous participant you dont neeeed to but id say do it just incase... even though its the duty of the owner, not you. Its you that will have to deal with any issues that may arise so cover ya self with the proof to be safe.

I had a annoying situation at immigration because i didnt realise itd not been submitted and had to pay the owners fine myself. Best to avoid the drama

Also it is technically not your responsibility anyway man, its the owner that gets fined if they dont file it.

The hotel will do the tm30 for you buddy. When you find a place that isnt a hotel then request the owner files a new one - they should automatically but just to be safe.

he said he was going to immigration with his passport for whatever reason... i wasnt saying he needed to go there to do the tm30 i was saying he didnt need anything to prove he had a tm30 if it is done online by his hotel.

Anonymous participant ye man. Its all done online when you check into hotel. If you want to be double safe just request the hotel does it and let then know youll be going to immigration - im told sometimes they get lazy and forget.

Hotel should do automatically. If not its a 1600baht fine they get. Pretty sure. Never hurts to ask though
