Thank you. When I apply for the 1 year extension is it normally issued same day, or do I return another day to get it? (I'm trying to book a short trip out of the country and don't want to mess with timing at immigration.)

My understanding was, I receive my Non-O and 90 day stamp on 28 June but am required to return 30-45 days before expiration of the 90 in order to get my 1 year extension. Is that right? Thanks.
