- thanks for confirming my confusion. I have no real experience working with immigration except for the tm7 extensions in the past I've done so hoped the blank line for extension period might allow 90 days. The METV was in hope that immigration services might be similar to consular service so again thanks for the clarification. Ill try the 60 day extension and after that exit/ re-enter on exemption stamp. As always - the right answers always come from you two quite often. You patience is appreciated
- So this more of a question than an answer- sorry - So you are in Thailand and applying at the thailand immigration office for a non immigrant O visa (not an O-A from your home consulate) and thai imigration requires a police report ? and if yes - what is your current citizenship ?
I thought you only needed an FBI/police reportfor a O-A long stay from your own consulate country. A non imig O (if i understand correctly - and perhaps this is for US citizens only ) doesnt require one.
- yes - that post above is consulate and not in country immigration. Is an METV available to purchase from immigration if i just arrive on an exemption 30 day stamp ?. .
site - which is giving Washington DC as mail in address but heard as well there is one in LA and and states 4. A copy of flight confirmation/reservation , showing going from US to Thailand and leaving from Thailand (The name of the applicant must indicated clearly)
I might be confused but what i read under METV document requirements when submitting for this visa in the US is "a copy of flight confirmation/reservation showing going from US to Thailand and leaving from Thailand" I dont yet have the METV visa but was getting ready to submit the visa application and wanted to make sure i had the paperwork right
