ORIGINAL POSTER
I executed a lease with my girlfriend in CM this year then departed for 5 months. The leasing agent did the original tm30 for me at the lease initiation. I am returning to CM tomorrow. I asked the agent for another TM30 when i arrive and was informed that "you can go directly to the immigration office, because they need your original of TM30 that I gave to you last time with your passport, visa, and arrival paper when you arrive to update and stamp, there is no need to reapply because you have leased the house as the contract I gave to you, please go direct to the office of immigration". Is this accurate ? TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
The leasing agent informed you that you do not need to reapply for a TM30 form when you return to Chiang Mai after your five-month departure. Instead, you should bring the original TM30 received during the lease initiation, along with your passport, visa, and arrival documents, to the immigration office for an update and stamp. This process is correct as long as your lease remains valid.
