that’s not a problem but submitting things like a criminal background check without being asked raises red flags. It’s also a pain to obtain and costs money. Interestingly since you mention it, Malaysia requests one for their Digital Nomad Visa. Plus a tax registration from their revenue department so Thailand is very lenient here.

Do not supply more than necessary, especially nothing that ties you to Thailand. This is for remote workers from abroad.

Get yourself a signup from the cooking academy or a muay thai school (both posted here) and you have your certainty. Cost is 55,000 Baht for the courses. Plus the Visa fee of course.

It’s not required but since OP has doubts about what else to show to prove an existing business it would help.

Change browser and if you have problems reading the captcha enlarge the screen. That usually helps.

Do you have a business license? Otherwise, an accepted Muay Thai or a cooking couse is ~ 50,000-60,000 THB.

never dealt with Immigration in Thailand except for one time doing a 90 Day Report during Covid. Not a bad experience. I always got my Multiple Entry annual visas at the Embassy in Berlin rather than spending a full day at the Chaengwattana hellhole for extensions.

If you’re currently in Spain then applying Sweden wouldn’t have been plausible unless they expressively told you it’s ok. If that becomes a point of contention reply back you were in Sweden at the time you lodged the application and flew to Spain the next day for holiday.

can you get the passport expedited? Otherwise wait until you get it and apply for the DTV as soon as you obtain it and are still in the U.S. so you can legally apply for the DTV without lying on the online application about your location. Do not take any cash to Asia, you can’t open a bank account here except maybe an offshore account in Singapore etc and such a sum would need to be declared to customs. You’d also run the risk of civil asset forfeiture while still on U.S. soil. Leave it in your U.S. account. Is your trip to Thailand THAT urgent that a few weeks matter?
