I did mine start to finish in 90 minutes and never watched any videos. Did car and bike at the same time.

Getting the licence here is worth doing. You need to have the TM30, certificate of residence, medical, and take copies of all and your licence and used passport pages to the Department of Land and Transport to get the licence.

In Phuket it’s a 6 week wait, in Samui you can do same day in under 2 hours as long as you have all the correct papers.

Anonymous participant yeah been through all of that, I keep Skype credit for calling them, they will never need to call you. And if a bank calls you should NEVER talk with them anyway, you should always call them back on a number you know to be the correct one.

It’s not rocket science.

I’ve had a UK number for 15 years that is connected to FaceTime and Whats App, and I do actually have it active and it never gets called. Now I have a Norwegian number as well, and that is the same.

The ONLY time you may get a call, would be for security on abnormal transactions. And let’s be honest, if you are using a card from home in Thailand then you need your head tested. As the cost is crazy.

For ALL banking I now only use wise for cash and card. And they never call at all.

Anonymous participant why would your bank need to call you? I’ve never had either my UK or Norwegian bank need to. They will email or send notification through the bank apps. And then you can call them on Skype for next to nothing.
