...no, they often don't have to be , especially during the pre-planning stagesπŸ‘πŸ» anyways, pleased Neil has got it and can enjoy the extra time here. 😊

you are wrong. There is wording on adverts saying "education and seminars" as learning Thai cooking and Muay Thai could also be obtained on a ED visa.

I have got my DTV same way, I have booked numerous 30_60 day modules that are spread out.

I asked London embassy, because I need to renew next year, they said take old passport with me , as you don't get a 'stick in' visa, more a pdf printable A4 paper copy πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

thanks Tod, In all fairness I probably don't NEED the visa, now the VE is 60days(+30) but never know what the future holds. πŸ‘πŸ»

I know, plan is to do a few more courses that weren't feasible with ED visa.

It's the same when I hear about people getting a visa on the basis of booking to get a filling done at the dentist πŸ‘€

...and to add to that, I saw that on soft power, this now includes 'education and seminar' that's why I thought I would apply.

I received my DTV last week with proof of a 60day enrollment acceptance letter and payment receipt to a Thai school for learning Thai. I booked that months ago yet applied for DTV 2 weeks ago.
