because some farang think they are in their own country. Here you need you speak with respect tell them why you want the account,have the correct paperwork that the bank requires. If you just walk in and say l want to open an account most teller's will so no. They don't understand your request because they are not trained or know you can open an account. If the teller doesn't respond ask for the manager they will help you and most likely speak English. Also ask them to set up the bank app on your phone easy to pay or do anything that way. Try again but slowly slowly they can and will help you.goid luck

l didn't have an issue also. Can you explain how you approached the bank? What paperwork was required? Did they set up the banking app on your phone? Did you explain your visa and the fact that you live here and require a Thai Bank to transfer money from home country to pay bills etc etc

You can renew you licence on any visa once you have your licence it's forever just keep renewing it. As previous post just take in the required documents as request by rta

exactly have a copy of your passport your DTV and your TM30. Explain that you are working remotely and you need to transfer your country's salary to Thailand to pay bills and live here. Explain also that you want the staff to download the banks app so you can pay bills and live normal.if staff don't understand ask for the manager. Speak slowly and be polite. You attract more bees with honey than vineger ,🤣🤣

A 90 day report is just to confirm your whereabouts in Thailand. You some need any paperwork only your passport. There is a form to complete. If you are at the same address your landlord lodges the TM 30 that is already in the immigration system. You don't need to leave. Once you have done your first report you then can do it online it's that simple.

Finally someone agrees started driving me crazy everyone saying you need an onward ticket to make sure. Just buy 15$ ticket and throw it away. Is this a scam by these ticket people. No onward required if you have a visa 🍻

Go to immigration in your area with your wife and take her house book and your passport . 10 minutes and done
