As you see on enclosed picture, even a guy with first entry on 31 December was given the Number 1. it is calendar year, so if he decides to do another border run in January he will be marked Number 1 again. Some Officers marked or , others just mark 1 or 2. However the limit for border crossing coming in on visa exempt is TWO per calendar year for one person.

I did not get an confirmation from the Thai-Myanmar border at Kanchanaburi. The Thai-Cambodian side will most likely stamp Israeli passport, but might ask extra money.
