Hey all, anyone know if a visa exemption by air is limited to 2 per calendar year, or is it per 12 rolling months?
Thanks! :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The visa exemption by air does not have a specific limit; however, there are restrictions on border bounces, which are limited to two times per calendar year.
The rule is TWO 30 day visa exempt entries by land in a calendar year. The year reset today so you have two more 30 day visa exempt entries by land again. (y)

As you see on enclosed picture, even a guy with first entry on 31 December was given the Number 1. it is calendar year, so if he decides to do another border run in January he will be marked Number 1 again. Some Officers marked

, others just mark 1 or 2. However the limit for border crossing coming in on visa exempt is TWO per calendar year for one person.
, remember technically unlimited is NOT really unlimited and you could always be questioned by a passport control officer because of your extensive entry history who thinks you're living here or working illegally on visa exempt, tourist visa entries.

Okay but no restrictions by air, right? I'm a bit concerned bc I have quite a few tourist visas and exemptions - over 5 years tho, but since I have extra pages in my passport, with so much Thailand activity, they often give me the stink eye π¬π΅or at least questioning eye! But if it's technically unlimited then it sounds like it should be okay! (I'll be out for 2 weeks prior as well.)
