Just get out of Pattaya .Its hard to tell you where to go .If you like Islands there is the nearby Koh Samet or further on Koh Chang .It depends on your interests .

No about 8 years ago,but i keep my ear to the ground.Some things never change.Like the B10 Songtew in Pattaya.

If leaving by Air you get one day grace.If its 2 days you are charged 2 times B500,so B1000 .I had 5 days overstay once.Just payed and was away.No red stamp or anything.

If you are going over on a retirement visa which i did you are allowed one shipment duty and tax free.I took half a container of stuff over including tools books etc.
