 Hey, how did you chase up your visa application with the consulate in hanoi?

they're a few days past the 2-3 day processing period and I haven't heard anything from them. Tried sending an email to the address at the bottom of the receipt, but no reply on that either. Did you have to go down there in person or something?

 yes, apparently the woman at the counter is known for being difficult and moody. Hopefully the problem was with her and not the application

 ahhh, i didn't actually know that. Hopefully it goes through alright. Don't know what the paper statement would show different from the email one. I still won't have made any transactions

 yeah, made no sense to me. I think now maybe the lady read the statement wrong and was just trying to save face or something. but will find out in a few days if they ask for more details

 oh, well. i have another 2 weeks before my flight back anyway. So hopefully it will work out fine
