yeah, i couldn't get a direct flight to HCMC before my visa ran out. Hopefully it's not too much of a problem. The lady at the counter doesn't actually have anything to do with the visa-accepting process except taking the application

yeah, she asked me if i had another bank account. I said i did, but it didn't have the amount needed constantly in there. So seemed kind of pointless

If they say it's a problem I'll just do as you say. Give them statements from all my accounts

i only meant a screenshot from the bank website that shows the details of how that specific account works. So they know it's not a fixed account or anything

all my bank statements were official bank statements that I just printed out

i'm applying via the softpower medical route. But you might be right. maybe it's because most people are applying with workcation, so she is used to seeing statements with lots of money coming in and out

She's only the woman at the desk, so she's not the person who has the final say or anything. Just got me worried

yeah, i donno. She didn't mention anything about the accessibility of the money. And I printed out some screenshots from my banks website showing that these accounts allow withdrawals

She basically said "why's there nothing on the statement between march and august?" ... all I could say is that it's because i hadn't made any transactions. and this is the full official bank statement

Anonymous participant you could have been working online the whole time and they wouldn't have cared. as long as it's not with a thai company or something

The whole "no work" thing is really about not working in Thailand or taking jobs from thai people. They turn a blind eye to the digital nomad type jobs

and it's the same for the DTV visa. Although there are rumours that they will start charging you tax if you stay in the country over 180 days. But that's probably a long way off. If it ever even happens
