I don't think you will find an agent to supply 800,000 THB - immigration now require that amount in bank for months either side of visa application to stop agents loaning for a week or so. It doesn't affect me but I saw this info somewhere

I use the Kasikorn app. They recently set low values on all transactions. I just changed my daily transaction limits for my card to 150,000 baht. 30,000 limit on ATM withdrawals and 50,000 on transfers. I just paid over 120,000 in 3 lumps no problem.

As I understand it from comments on here, Immigration require the money to be in the bank for a period before and after the visa application. Not sure but I think 6 months was the after period. Doesn't affect me as I do 65k a month without an agent. I see the guys are still advertising they will take your test and get your driving license - I thought that had been stopped. Just needs test centre to check face against license or passport picture

You must be your agent's friend!! I have done my own visa applications since 2007. I submit bank statements, pension advice forms + copies of passport, tabien baan, bank book and now tax return certificate is required.

It comes via Bangkok clearing bank. My pension always arrives in my Kasikorn Bank a couple of day after leaving UK. I set up an e-mail notification that informs the money is in mt local bank

Interesting. I wondered what would happen if I was sick and missed renewing my visa. One of the Immigration Officers I spoke to some years ago said you will have to start again

I use K Bank and they send me a detailed credit advice e-mail that shows the origin (UK) and the destination. I take 12 copies of this with 12 months statement copies. (Kasikorn will print off 6 months free - so twice yearly with a letter of confirmation on the last month). You will need copies of your bank book front and latest pages showing a deposit on the day you attend. I always did this the day before but I have seen people say their local immigration send them back to do it on the day of application). Then the relevant form with picture, passport etc.
