mostly refining the docs as par the consulates want. Initial application had unnecessary and long explainations due to bank statement issues. The agent said the consulates don't want to think too much. They just want to see what they need and if it doesn't match, they won't do any reasoning nor read the ''so-called'' long cover letter and explaination we attach, before rejecting you. At least that's their words, not mine 😅
I know how it feels... As a legitimate remote worker, I thought a rejection was most unlikely and when I really got rejected, it was really disappointing.
I was rejected by HCMC embassy. Talked with an agent and he guided me the necessary adjustments. Applied at Hanoi 3 or 4 days later and approved without any further doc req.
I got mine with ''First, middle, last names'' filled in separately. Saw that YGN embassy's post later and for my wife and kid, i filled full names in the first name option.
Both methods worked fine. No questions asked by the airline or the immigration.
Anonymous participant nothing. I sent a followup email, no reply. My timeline was, submitted on Thursday, additional docs requested on Monday, docs submitted on Tuesday, status changed to ''Pending Approval'' on Wednesday, rejected on Friday evening.
