Yes , young Maxxy has woken up and needs to comment on something to keep his “All- star contributor” badge.

Just a shame he never actually contributes and just waffles and waffles and waffles on and on and on 🫣🫣🫣

Wrong! There have been multiple comments, posts and recommendations across many different Facebook groups over the years by people who do the same! I have 3 different bank accounts.

For the Author, just remember as of a few years ago, an individual bank account is only covered by insurance/indemnity for 1,000,000 baht down from the previous 5,000,000 limit.

Some deem it wise to spread any funds across multiple accounts to protect your money etc.

Cheers

Super Simple really Jeremy 👌Not necessarily the same procedure and requirements from the local Amphoe. Your experience is not necessarily the same for others. Super simple really me thinks 🤔😊😜

Hey David, Stuart’s idea is a good idea about Western Union. I do not need to anymore, but I have a number of times over the years transferred money from my Australian Bank via my Western Union App and sent to myself in Thailand as the recipient for a cash pickup at any Western Union Branch in Thailand.

Maxy I belong to around 140 Face Book Groups and if you spent more time assimilating information instead of being passive aggressive with your, oh so so many similar response to people, then I wouldn’t have to tell you anything. I knew this would be your response as you seem to just troll conversations and reply for the sake of it. All Star Contributor Badge earnt by your efforts like this post Maxy? Try and make a positive contribution Maxy 🙏

Like someone has already told you just before. You are not worth responding to again Maxy. Cheers

This topic has been posted and discussed across many facebook groups I belong to. There have been quite a number of people with accounts frozen who have been with the Bank many years up to 20 odd from memory, who have always had the appropriate documentation and requirements but were caught up in this mess. Not sure what logarithm or logic the bank is using to freeze accounts, but it has been painfully obvious many innocent people swept up in this mess.

Peter read my reply to Liam O’Connell- An Agent I am sure will sort it for you at a cost. However if you wanted to keep everything above board with no possible repercussions in the future for whatever reasons, I would just start again and do it legally, even if it means leaving the Country and returning and doing it all over again. Using an Agent to do a shonky fix could potentially leave you exposed. If you are not worried about the odds of running the gauntlet, use an agent. Cheers

Aussie bloke in Bangkok maybe 3 years ago give or take, spoke of the risks of using an agent. Yes, an accepted practice etc etc, however his cousin also aged in his 70’s, was using the Agent Method without the actual cash, he was married and had been living in Bangkok in his own Condo for 12 years. The Visa Company he was using got caught up in some separate investigation involving Police and Immigration. The Company was audited, and the cousins circumstances unfortunately came out in the wash, and he was deported, blacklisted never to return. Marriage and Condo gone aged in his 70’s. So unlucky for him and may never happen for others… maybe 🤔

@Lloyd *******
Semantics Lloyd with the terminology! The post is obvious in its meaning to everyone except some people who are so pedantic and prefer to engage in replies like you instead of just answering the question. Retirement or over 50’s visa or what ever you want to pedantically call it, just read those people who answered the question without all the semantics and English interpretations etc, but just replied because they knew what the author intended with his post. Gee Lloyd, another reason I normally do not reply to people. Let my guard down with you sunshine!
