Use these guys,they opened a bank account and got me a drivers license in two days on a visa exempt entry…I didn’t have to do anything at all,they sorted it all out for me,quick,efficient and very reasonable cost…highly recommended. Retirement Visa – Chiang Mai

Yep same in Chiang Mai….I arrived in Chiang Mai mid March,got a driver’s license,bank account and deposited 800k,then I flew to Oz to wait the required 2 months…and now I’m flying back to CM on Saturday to complete the process.

You’re right,that makes things much easier…but there are far more farangs who haven’t got a Thai partner than have one,for them it’s a big problem.
