I like the effort here, but missing the mark. 3800 in flights. A long time sitting on your backside. Transport to and from airport. And who goes to SKorea just to turn around and come back. And the assumed someone living in BKK or HKT. Not happening

doesn't matter if planning to go in the future or not. Just pay your overstay fine and that's it

I suspect you just answered your own question. 1900 baht a lot cheaper than a nice road trip vacay to neighbouring or nearby country

max 3 bullet points on anything for me. I'm out

No worries. Just go thru the airport. They will direct you to overstay counter in BKK. If only one day, you will not likely be fined the 500 baht but receive a red overstay stamp

not really correct on the financial comparison as DTV is multi entry. If you want equivalent on retirement extensions, you need to add on 3800 baht per year also.

@Jim ******
what were the reasons you got rejected for DTV?

@Jim ******
then if you can't qualify for LTR, or can't afford Thai privilege visa or not over 50... the DTV would seem ideal for your intentions

yes, been the same for a few decades now. Border bounces and visa runs. Always fun
