What I said is precisely true. We all know the rules differ between consulates. In some nations, leaving the country (especially returning to Thailand) can result in rejection.

If you are at least semi-intelligent and well funded in retirement, you have people to assist you for that here. Many good people making a living as visa agents.

No worries, not everyone is smart with money. Maybe bureaucratic paperwork and standing in line were part of your retirement plan. Keep doing your best.

very easy. But not exactly smart financially. And it’s nice if you don’t mind going to the bank, opening account, standing in line, gathering documents and then driving to immigration to do the same thing. But if bored with your life, it’s probably a fun couple of days every year
