we didn't pay 5000 bahts, only, 1000 bahts I think to open our bank accounts in September

Both have to have the 800,000 in your bank accounts.

After 15 months only my proof of 65,000 can be used as my wife's pensions don't meet that criteria so she will still have to have the 800,000 Bahts in her bank account.

We used an agent to open our Bangkok bank account in Pattaya, think it cost 1000 Bahts.

Will be using an agent to do our Non O retirement in January, just saves all the hassle.

we are using an agent to make it easier to go through the process whether it is opening a bank account or applying for the relevant visa. We will still use the legal requirements to get the latter.

Having just purchased a Condo and seen how difficult it is to go through this process because of the language difficulties, using an agent to do things for you just made it easier.

We used an agent last month, no problems at all.

yes I have seen that when we were out there in September looking at cars. I did hear also that the second year they bump it up quite a bit so I will keep that name in mind.
