Colin Gale you sure can 👍 don't believe everything you read on Facebook, usually from people who don't even have DTV, I live in Thailand on DTV and I opened bank account, got yellow book and Thai ID card, and Thai license, all on DTV, no problem 👍

Bradley Jones i have DTV, no problem to get a bank account 👍 seems to be a common misconception that you can't, I also got thai ID card, driver's license, and yellow book, all on DTV 😄

Yep no problem, you will get another 90 days when you re-enter Thailand so when you secure your long term rental get bank account then, you will have 1 month to get that sorted 👍
