this guy has no experience here, does not know anything and is asking already the most basic info, how on earth is he going to setup all himself? did you do it yourself also the first time alone? Ah yes it is the stay that is extended, holy moly it is a word game now. Ask anyone what it is and everyone will tell you that it is the retirement visa extension because it says retirement, not 90 days visa extension, but pardon me , it is the 90 day visa that is extended for 1 year. But let us all be fair and square, with your experience it will be no problem for you when mario arrives to guide him to the immigration and help him out in about 30 minutes........... and when all goes sour feel free to contact me, as i will help him to get it all officially and legally done trough an agency . I think you are mixing up small offices who just do whatever they can do to make some money, and they use less legal ways. Still what was impossible after feb 2025 according to some people is just the normal way of getting it easy hassle free done.

did you see me write that he can open a bank account on a tourist visa? in case you should doubt my words here is the retitment visa extension done with J & E concierge. The good old thai way , because even i had all documents ready immi came up with each time something else to take care off................ and i prefer to pay for all of this than to waste days of returning and waiting.

Dat is het beste, laat die oelewappers die ergens het licht zagen branden maar doen. Moet je zelf maar eens lezen waar je allemaal aan moet voldoen en over hoeveel verschillende documenten het gaat. Neem daarbij dat je de taal niet spreekt, geen idee hebt over hoe het hier officieel allemaal aan toe gaat en dan ga je een visa regelen? Je zal dagen slijten met dit alles in belgistan als je eerst je visa aanvraagt en daarna dagen om alles uit te zoeken en vinden en dan ben je maar 50 euro kwijt en is het bijna tijd om terug naar huis te keren............... Of doe zoals het gaat in pattaya, waar geld niet meer rechtstreeks in de zakken van immi mag gegeven worden en waar de agencies alles regelen en iedereen is blij. Jij want met een minimum aan moeite is alles in kannen en kruiken, immi want ze worden dan vergoed door de agencies, de agencies die ook verdiend hebben en dat kost je dan zo een 500-700 euro. En je neemt de optie multiple entree ( anders moet je elke keer je thailand verlaat alles opnieuw doen als je de reentree niet had geregeld )

I do not know what thailand you live in or had visited, but i do live and work here now 11 year. If you want to inform people than at least inform yourself. Opening up all for retirment visa cost first time between 15.000 and 20.000thb if you use an agency, where do you get numbers like 60.000thb??? And as he said he has the means of more than 65.000/month so he can do it all the legal way himself , spend 2 to 3 days of returning and noticing that immi do not realy want to much that people do it themself , because there is no teamoney involved. So at the end you will go to an agency ,pay the little bit of money to them, and they share it with immi and every one is happy. He will spend a few hours of opening bank account and other formalities and done. Also these agencies can " arrange" the 800.000thb if that should be needed, of course for an extra cost ( between 2.000 to 5.000 thb ). And that empty statement of not possible anymore since feb ??? man man man , i had my retirment visa done in june. I could proove all , the monthy income, the savings, insurance proof.............. and than you need to start travelling to have all documents legalised, so i could go for the 1900thb do it yourself in a week or so if you are lucky, or pay an agency who are taking care of everything with a minimum of hassle and fuzz. I paid 14.000thb this year as it was an extension and was done in 2 office visits and they drove me to immi to arrange the visa what took in total 7 minutes. Now if you want to argue and talk bs here than i ask you very friendly to put 1.000.000thb on the table and than lets talk, i have a friend coming real soon and we will do this together, me you and him and after that let us talk again here. I will bring some tissues so you can wipe your tears and blow your nose when you have to depart from your million thb. So my advise, do not be the holier than the pope fool and just go with the flow of thailand. Do it all yourself if you have the time, know where to go, what docs you need, what additional papers, talk the language and the customs, not get upset or agitated when you return the 5th time and still you missed a comma somewhere and pay 1900thb or so. Or go to an agency with whatever visa you are on and let them take care of all of this and all you need to do is sign some documents and pick up your passport with visa without any hassle, frustration and trips to immi and elsewhere.

Oh thank you for the total proof of your non existence level of reading and calculating. As me and i think any other can do read that he needed to pay 13.000 thb , but he got it discounted to 10.000thb. Meaning he saved 3.000thb. Maybe where you come from they not learn to calculate anything , but when i was around 8 years old it was common in our educating system that the children need to learn how to count and read........ But if the pain gets to hard you can always give me a shout as i not leave some one confused and in pain alone........ Now you can go back searching for some other post to go spread your nonsense or back to the barbie dolls fight with ken.....

than why the whole discount story ? this is thailand, we are mostly unwanted guests, for sure expats. go try the other banks and find out that they are all the same. or do we really think that we are the ones in control here ?

wow if 3000 thb is the trophee your friend has won .......remember that is 3000thb that can not be used for the tea of immi. i tell you now , his next encounter with immi , as next time he will have a little problem and he will pay it more than double back. for 75 euro need to go discount ? seems you will need to learn the first lesson, you not go hassle with immigration related tea size.
