Hi. Topic: the 1-year extension to a Non-O 90-day visa. Assuming all eligibility and financial requirements can be met, which option of the two : the extension based on Retirement, or extension based on marriage to a Thai, which is easiest, less hassle ? ( I know about the Bt400,000 price difference.)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The question seeks guidance on whether extending a Non-O visa, based on retirement or marriage to a Thai national, is less hassle, assuming all eligibility and financial requirements are met. A comment clarifies that the reason for the visa cannot be changed; the extension must align with the visa's original purpose.

You don't get to decide. If a non-O visa was issued for marriage, it can only be extended for marriage. If a non-O visa was issued for retirement, it can only be extended for retirement. You can only change reasons between extensions, but you cannot change reasons between the visa and the extension.
